Rolling Meadows, IL - Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America will introduce the latest electronic assembly version of its PanaCIM® Enterprise Edition manufacturing execution system (MES) software at APEX 2011.
To further support customers with mixed-vendor production lines, the PanaCIM Enterprise Edition fully integrated software suite has been expanded to include additional equipment from non-Panasonic vendors.
“Inventory management and traceability are key concerns of customers,” said Faisal Pandit, Panasonic Director of Solutions. “At APEX, we’ll demonstrate how our software modules can provide customers with solutions to control, plan, verify, change over, trace, and analyze materials whether in a warehouse, in WIP, or on the production floor.”
The web-based Production Analysis module has evolved from a charting tool into an analytical tool with a new design, enhanced visual indicators, and on-the-fly report modification with real-time results to directly enhance the user experience, so maximizing productivity remains paramount.
Mr. Pandit continued, “This version is an evolution based on customer feedback and developing what they need to execute tasks more easily, more efficiently, and more enjoyably. That is why PanaCIM continues to be a mainstay in electronics manufacturing."
